My bets, Compare books, and cash-out targets

Log the bets you place and see each decision graded at the moment you made it. Compare one bet's price across books, and set a cash-out target that emails you once when it's reached.

Three new things this week, all built for the moment you're actually holding a ticket.

My bets

A private log of the bets you placed at your sportsbook: game, pick, odds, stake, and the win chance you had in mind. Record what you did (held it, cashed out, or cashed part of it) and how it ended.

Each bet is valued at the moment you decided, not just by how it finished. A cash-out shows what certainty cost you; the totals compare your results with what your decisions were worth, so you can see how much was the bounce of the ball. Bets on your own team get their own line, in case loyalty is costing you.

Compare books

A new tab on the calculator. Type the same bet's odds at up to six sportsbooks and a stake, and see them ranked by what they pay. On a $500 bet, +100 instead of −115 is $65 more for the same risk.

Underneath, the Kelly formula sizes a stake from your bankroll and win chance at the best price: a quarter, half or full Kelly, never shown above 5% of your bankroll. It's a formula, not advice. It trusts your chance completely, and against our own (the market's, with the margin removed) it usually says bet nothing.

Cash-out targets

Link a logged bet to an NFL, college football or NBA game we called, then set a target: "cash-out hits $600" or "win chance hits 80%". During the game we check it every minute against our live win chance and email you once when it's reached. A reading more than two minutes old never fires a target, and the email says to check the real offer in your sportsbook first.
